The Original “no frills” tent for moving fast and light in the mountains. Ideal for one person plus gear or two at a squeeze. The MK1 is the perfect parabolic shape and provides the optimum amount of internal space for the minimum amount of material usage. It can be set up in under 2 minutes in just about any spot where you choose to make camp. With 39” of headroom at the apex, this is a comfortable tent to hang out in during bad weather. Options and features are kept to a minimum to eliminate weight and bulk. No fly needed.
Features:
Elasticized weather flap over the door. Floor is made from 70 denier, 1.9oz taffeta nylon and 1/2 oz urethane coating. Two tunnel vents on the side walls. Extra tie points located at the top of the tent and midway up each of the pole seams. 6 8” Easton light weight tubular aluminum stakes. Four 10” lengths of 2.2mm cord.
Note: Due to the angle between floor to apex, the usable floor space is not large enough for people over 6’ tall to lay flat on their back.
