A 2022 newly modified version of the Fleece Hunting Jacket is modified off of the Rapid Response Fleece, the fleece hunting jacket is a 3-season technical fleece designed for active law enforcement and modified to support the tactical / sport shooter and outdoorsman. This is a bomber length fleece, perfect for a 3-season outer layer or as a midlayer if desired. Our Fleece Mountain Jacket is another of our fleece midlayer offerings, is 2 inches longer than the Fleece Hunting Jacket or Rapid Response Fleece.
Features:
Depending on colour will be made from Polartec Branded double veloured 300 weight fleece or a 230g polyester fleece. Chest, Elbows, Cuffs a reinforced with a durable 270g taslan. Underarm venting, adjustable cuff with colour matching 1” hook and loop. Webbing microphone or radio loop on left chest. Elasticized waist. Taslan reinforced collar exterior for gear abrasion resistance. 2 waist height zippered pockets.
Differences from the Rapid Response Fleece:
On Rapid Response Fleece the underarm venting runs all the way to hem for gear access with 3 sliders, it has been shortened on the Fleece Hunting Jacket, shoulder epaulettes are removed on hunting jacket, hook and loop patch on right chest for removable name tag has been removed on Fleece Hunting Jacket, hook and loop patches on both shoulders for flashes have been removed. Heavy duty elastic closure with snap across bottom of gear zipper access has been removed.
